Transitional housing is temporary, supportive housing designed to help
individuals transition from homelessness or housing instability to
permanent, independent living. Our programs typically last 6-24 months
and include case management, life skills training, and access to
supportive services.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, currently experiencing
homelessness or housing instability, willing to participate in program
requirements, and able to provide required documentation. A criminal
background check is required, though each case is reviewed
individually. See our Eligibility page for complete requirements.
Program costs vary based on individual circumstances and income. We
work with each resident to determine an affordable contribution based
on their financial situation. No one is turned away due to inability
to pay. Financial assistance and payment plans are available.
After your initial consultation, the application review process
typically takes 5-7 business days. This includes background checks and
verification of documentation. In urgent situations, we work to
expedite the process. You'll be notified of your application status as
soon as possible.
Our programs include housing placement, case management, life skills
training, job placement referrals, trade school referrals, faith-based
referrals, peer support groups, financial literacy classes, and
ongoing counseling. All services are tailored to your individual needs
and goals.
Yes, we have family housing options available for residents with
children. Pet policies vary by facility—please discuss your specific
situation during the intake process. We understand that pets are
family members and work to accommodate them whenever possible.
No, employment is not required to apply. In fact, part of our program
includes job placement assistance and career training referrals. We
work with you to develop employment skills and connect you with
opportunities. However, you must be willing to actively pursue
employment or training during your stay.
Upon successful completion, we assist you in transitioning to
permanent housing with ongoing support. You'll have access to our
alumni network, continued case management check-ins, and emergency
assistance if needed. Our goal is your long-term success and
stability.
